My favorite section is Teaching Teens. I learn many technique from this especially getting started with resources I can find lesson plans, tools and activities for my classroom. They have a range of resources. Including training courses, article, videos and other categories. They are divided by level and a range topic. Moreover they have ideas for using stories and poems, classroom rules poster.
ReplyDeleteMost of all I like Teaching tools most I can adapt to my teaching in class. In the past I didn't know where I can find resources. So Before I teach any topic I can learn and prepare before I teach. It makes I feel more confident to teach my students. And all of technique, the content or resources are up to date. That is suit for PCSHS students. I can find more text for them.
Learning English through British Council website is very interesting. There are many kinds of sections for learning every skills, such as vocabularies, grammars and examinations etc. It is a useful resource for teacher to implement it to class. I like listening section. The first part is the example situation in everyday life. The second part for student to follow and practice by themselves. So, it is more practical and relevance to student's daily activities that students can easily access into the lesson and repeating it. Finally, the section ends up with the examinations and scores available for students to evaluate themselves how bad or good on each learning section.The teachers can download the exercises for students. This website supports both teachers and students to good at English without paying money and we can learn anywhere and anytime. I found the treasure resource to help me and students.
ReplyDeleteGames!!!I will use this section in my teaching practice. Play games, have fun and improve my students's English language about vocabulary at the same time such as Beat the Keeper,Magic Gopher,Sushi Spell,Word wangling and Wordshake.These are Popular games for this section.The students like to play games when I finished in each vocabulary lesson I always use games to check their understanding.I also use games to check before studying.I think the students get better understand in the lesson. I think so.
ReplyDeleteLearning English from British Council website is very important. The past I often used it searching technique for teaching in the my classroom. I can finded lesson plans, tools and activities. Especially I can development and improved my English skills. My favorite section is the grammar and vocabulary sections to help and support my teaching. I want to take this website in my teaching practice to improve the my students and the my English. Because the many technique suit for students.
ReplyDeleteI try to explore many sections from the British council website. I like it because that video that I watched,read the texts ,listened to the audio and did online exercises,that can improve all my English skills.It is free of charge.It is a good website that I can use with the students in the classes . Moreover I can test my students'level before get start .Do the level can help us to find pages that are the right level for us. For each page have introduction it is good for us because we will know the step to learn in that section. The page has a text, a video, or an audio file to learn .When we have done that we can do the exercises that check if we do not understand what we have read ,seen,or listened to .There are the transcript for videos and audios on the pages. I like all sections of this website.We can download the handout exercise in PDF version and there are transcripts and answer sheets that very useful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite sections are “Teaching English” and “Learn English Teens” because the Teaching English sections have many useful techniques for language teaching and have examples of lesson plans, another section is Learn English Teens, there are a lot of information which were divided in many categories such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. I would like to use the game in Learn English Teens section. I think it is useful and enjoyable, I will let student to play in small groups like the competition in class. I think it is a good idea to elicit the vocabularies in their memory.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I like LearningEnglish Teens and TeachingEnglish because both of them are very important for students such as games, listen and watch, read and write, make, explore, songs, short story, poems, video zone, Your zone, Reading practice, sounds, speak and spell, Trick words, Moreover I like to take the work sheet from Grammar

Grammar chants, words games, and word of the week. I think the variety all 4 skills LearningEnglish are very useful and necessary for students very much. I will choose the suitable work sheets that it propers in each students levels. There are many teaching techniques that I will let them know about the English language as much as I can.
I like Teaching English and Learn English Teens because They have many teaching techniques. Students can learn about pronunciation. This section used game to teach students.There are a lot of information to teach students. They can practice about listening speaking reading and writing skills. I think it is useful for teacher and students to improve English language. I would like to practice grammar and use worksheet to teach student about writing skill.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite section is Teaching Teens. This section is dedicated to teachers of teenagers. There are many materials for I can use in my class such as Lesson plan, activities, stories and poems, and teaching tools to help in my teenage classroom. Most of all I can adapt to my teaching in class especially about activities or game there are many interest game example Thinking Time-a puzzle this game can motivate speaking activity for lower levels to develop fluency and other I think it is useful for my student to improve English language.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite section in British Council LearnEnglish is Listening. I think it is a useful resource for teacher to use it in class. The website provides the example situation in everyday life, the exercises for students to practice by themselves. Moreover,student can easily access into the lesson and practice it. Finally, teacher can download the exercises and audio script for students. This website is also suitable for both teachers and students. I will adapt and bring the materials from this website to use in my lesson and also suggest to my colleagues.

ReplyDeleteI have had some problems with my eyesights. I couldn’t work with my computer at night time because of cataracts in my eyes. The doctor told me to avoid facing lights. This affected my neck, shoulder during the workshop. I had to have someone help do massage.
ReplyDeleteWhen I went back to school, I explored British Council LearnEnglish website with many interesting podcasts on this site. After watching some of the video clips and trying out some of the activities.
I found that LearnEnglish Teen provides audio clips with worksheets appropriately with learners at the same age with my students. I would use this website in my teaching on genre “Daily Routine” and grammar of present simple. After watching, students reorder the event, read aloud, reconstruct the story by using “she” instead of “I”.
